Tribe Art Gallery (10 p.m. Mondays, 510 N.W. Glisan St.; 503-227-3976, $3-$5 suggested donation): As the lights dim at the beginning of the evening, the ambient noise-scape over the PA turns into a dub-cover of "Time" by Pink Floyd . The chairs become scarce in the hangar-like gallery, and of the 35 or so hyper-receptive people in the crowd, most are here nearly every week. A space for art showings, the occasional music performance and live theatre, it holds 15 performers tonight, most of them reading original works of poetry. The first on stage is Jason Allen, who reads "Starving Artist People Watching, NYC," an ode to living in his former hometown of Manhattan.
